Firearm & NFA Item Transfers

Overview

Centerfire Sports makes the transfer process smooth and straightforward.

• Contact Us First: Please do not ship a firearm to us without contacting us first to ensure a smooth process.
• Nevada DPS Background Checks: The Nevada Department of Public Safety may experience delays with NICS background checks.
• Acceptance Criteria: We only accept transfers from licensed FFLs and SOTs. We do not facilitate private party transfers.
• CCW Holders: If you have a current LVMPD-issued Concealed Firearms Permit (CCW), you are exempt from the NDPS background check. You are still required to fill out Form 4473.
• Bipartisan Safer Communities Act: Due to the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act of 2022, NICS transactions for persons aged 18–20 may take up to ten (10) business days.
• NFA Items: If your transfer includes an NFA item, you are exempt from the NDPS background check. The NFA paperwork submitted to ATF is processed as the background check. However, you are still required to fill out Form 4473.

Pricing

The following pricing applies to all items purchased from another FFL. Our pricing is transparent and affordable:

• Firearm Transfer: $50 per firearm
• NFA Items: $50 per NFA item
• Nevada Sales Tax: Nevada sales tax may apply to your transfer (see Nevada Department of Taxation Tax Bulletin SUT 15-0001)
• Customers without a current Nevada CCW: $25 per NICS background check

Transfer Process

Regardless of product origin:

1. Contact Us: Reach out to us for approval before shipping your firearm or NFA item. Provide a valid receipt from the seller.
2. Select FFL: Choose “IMAIGKA Corporation dba Centerfire Sports” (also listed as Imagika Corporation dba Centerfire Sports) as your destination FFL. The seller/sender must have a valid FFL.
3. Contact the Seller: Instruct the seller or sender to contact us at ffl@centerfiresports.com to start the transfer process.
4. Provide Tracking: Share all shipping and tracking numbers with us at ffl@centerfiresports.com to ensure a smooth process.
5. Complete Paperwork: Once your item arrives and we’ve completed our internal paperwork, we’ll contact you to schedule an appointment for paperwork, fees, taxes, and background checks. NFA items require additional paperwork.
6. Background Check: Centerfire Sports will execute the background check while you wait. If your background check is delayed, we will provide further instructions.
